Transforming Our Town Centre
By 2020, Nee Soon GRC residents will see their estate further rejuvenated to the tune of more than S$600 million under the area's five-year town renewal plans. Key in the plan is the transformation of Yishun Town Centre into a lifestyle hub.

Residents can expect a new integrated town centre including residential and commercial retail spaces, a new air-conditioned bus interchange, to be the largest in Singapore, and the first Community Club within a mall in the country.

This, in addition to the current progressive rejuvenation of Nee Soon through various projects will add to the further vibrancy of the town.

MP for Nee Soon GRC, Mr K Shanmugam shared that the new developments "will make facilities more accessible, new eateries, new places for people to go to, new facilities." He added that "people will also work out; it is going to increase the value of their own properties."
