Mr K. Shanmugam
Adviser to Nee Soon Town Council

Mr K. Shanmugam is the Minister for Law and Minister for Home Affairs.
He previously served as the Minister for Foreign Affairs.
Mr K. Shanmugam has been a Member of Parliament for Chong Pang since 1988, representing the Sembawang Group Representation Constituency (1988-2011) and the Nee Soon Group Representation Constituency (since 2011). He is closely involved in Town Council work for the past three decades, including speaking up in Parliament on Town Council issues when he was a backbencher MP. 

Mr Derrick Goh Soon Hee
Chairman of Nee Soon Town Council

Mr Derrick Goh started serving as the Town Council Chairman after being elected as the Member of Parliament for Nee Soon Link in 2020. Currently the Managing Director and Head of Group Audit, DBS Bank, he hopes to value-add to residents and the team by bringing his experience from the private sector. Carrying on the Town Council’s vision of Home With A Heart, Mr Derrick Goh is committed to putting heartlanders first. Residents can look forward to accelerated improvement programmes for older precincts, improved transport connectivity, renewed N4 mall and a new community centre in Nee Soon Link.

Ms Carrie Tan Huimin
Vice-Chairperson of Nee Soon Town Council

Ms Carrie Tan is the Member of Parliament for Nee Soon South since 2020. She serves as Vice-Chairperson of Nee Soon Town Council. Ms Carrie Tan is the founder of Daughters of Tomorrow, a charity under the Charities Act of Singapore. Recognition of her work in empowering underprivileged women in Singapore was given by US President Obama, who mentioned her in a press conference during Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s state visit to the White House in Aug 2016.

Assoc. Prof. Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim
Adviser to Nee Soon Town Council


AP Faishal is the Minister of State for Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of National Development. Previously, he served as the Senior Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Social and Family Development and the Ministry of Education.
A Member of Parliament since 2006, AP Faishal is elected to represent Nee Soon Central since 2011. He was the first Chairman of the Nee Soon Town Council after its formation in 2013, laying a strong foundation for Town Council’s management and governance.

Mr Louis Ng Kok Kwang

Sustainability Champion for NSTC

Mr Louis Ng is the Member of Parliament for Nee Soon East since 2015. He served as the Town Council Chairman from 2015 to 2020. With his vision of a Home With A Heart, Mr Louis Ng increased productivity and morale within the Town Council via various initiatives, and oversaw new projects by the Town Council to build a better home for residents. These include the popular Oasis Waterpark @ Nee Soon East and Wednesdays with Horses, a therapy programme for children and the elderly.
